Chris Sandy and Eric Krug (along with his mother Joyce) spoke to us today about the consequences of decisions. Both have been affected by drinking and driving.

At the age of 22, Chris Sandy chose to drink and drive, which led to car crash that killed an elderly couple. Chris went to prison for 8.5 years, and when he last visited Marist he arrived in his prison garb and handcuffs. Since then, Chris has been released from prison and continues to talk about his choices and their ramifications on his life and others.

Eric Krug was a standout baseball player at Oglethorpe University until his 21st birthday. On that night, he got into a car with friends who had been drinking and was involved in a horrific car crash that left him with permanent disabilities. Eric shares his story through the use of technology and with the assistance of his mother.

They now work together on a project to speak to young people about drinking and driving.
